The European Nutritional Care for All (ONCA) policy summit is a unique initiative that aims to bring together key stakeholders to drive the implementation of nutritional care in over 21 European countries.
The policy summit is part of the ONCA and EU4Nutrition Campaign, a significant effort to improve the state of nutritional care across Europe that was launched by the European Nutrition for Health Alliance (ENHA) and its alliance members, including leading professional societies in clinical nutrition (ESPEN) and dietetics (EFAD), along with patient organizations. The inclusion of patient organizations is particularly important, as it ensures that the perspectives and needs of patients are taken into account in the development and implementation of nutritional care plans.
The summit has the potential to raise awareness about the importance of optimal nutritional care and drive concrete actions to improve nutritional care practices across Europe.
