As part of ONCA-Danmark, DSKE is helping to kickstart Nutrition Week with an inspiring kickoff event on Thursday in week 43. Experts in nutrition, professor, nurse Mette Holst and professor, senior physician Henrik Højgaard Rasmussen from Aalborg University Hospital, give a presentation on disease-related malnutrition, its consequences, and how nutritional treatment works. Furthermore, the status of implementation and prevalence in Denmark is presented. Last but not least, the director of the Danish Lung Association (Patient Association) An Leistiko presents the patient’s point of view on nutritional aspects and what patient associations do and need to do to support their members to a better life.
