Educational session for 80 volunteers regarding undernutrition and the importance of creating an inviting
meal and dining environment, hosted by Professor Mette Holst.
– Serving plant-based and protein-rich “nutrition week” cakes to patients. The cakes are served with a white tablecloth, fine napkins, and the hospital’s updated “Nutrition Week postcard”. Volunteers assist in serving and talking to patients about meals.
– “Pop-up” activities in the canteens for the staff, where, among other things, two experienced dieticians
will have a stand where they talk to nursing staff and doctors about guiding patients and guidance in the
use of the material that is available.
