This year, the municipality of Santarém in Portugal will be participating in the Malnutrition Awareness Week for the first time, organizing several activities from the 7th to the 12th of November at the Convento de S. Francisco.
This initiative aims to raise awareness among the community about the issue of Malnutrition (better known as disease-related malnutrition).
The Mayor of Santarém, Ricardo Gonçalves, the Ombudsman of Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Santarém, Hermínio Martinho, and the President of the Portuguese Association of Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition and Coordinator of ONCA Portugal, Aníbal Marinho invite all interested parties to attend the Opening session tomorrow at 2:30 pm, at the Convento de S. Francisco in Santarém.
