The conference is part of the ONCA Campaign, a significant effort to improve the state of nutritional care across Europe that was launched by the European Nutrition for Health Alliance (ENHA) and its alliance members, including leading professional societies in clinical nutrition (ESPEN) and dietetics (EFAD), along with patient organizations. The inclusion of patient organizations is particularly important, as it ensures that the perspectives and needs of patients are taken into account in the development and implementation of nutritional care plans.
