The making of ENHA & ONCA
Last month, the journal Clinical Nutrition published a special article written by ENHA executive director Frank de Man and members of the European Nutrition for Health Alliance (ENHA). The article describes the making-of ENHA, how ENHA works with members of the European Parliament to bring nutritional care into key EU programmes and implemented the Optimal Nutritional care for All (ONCA) campaign. As European countries are responsible for their health care systems (and not the EU), screening for nutritional risk and follow up care need to be implemented country by country. The ONCA campaign now includes 18 European countries and growing.
