Supported by the Optimal Nutritional Care for All (ONCA) campaign, many European countries have launched their Malnutrition Awareness Week since 2020: 15 ONCA countries are engaging in Malnutrition Awareness Week in 2023.
Although each week has its own timing, objective, scope and programme, they share the aim of driving optimal nutritional care implementation and the connection with the ONCA campaign.
Each Malnutrition Awareness Week aims to create a national platform to increase awareness of malnutrition and address specific local aims. The recurring character is a strong driver for ongoing awareness and sustainable collaboration between all participating organisations and relevant stakeholders such as healthcare professionals, patients, and policymakers.
If you want to join with your country, please get in touch with the secretariat.
